PLANNING THE ESSAY

 

Background Information:

The Black Panther Party were a party based on Self-Defence, the party was established Seale. The party were determined to fight against the government concerning minority Races in United States. Their tasks were to establish real social, political equality and no existence of Racism. The BPP were a more violent party, their concept on how to gain equality for minority races were not smart and in certain situation that lead them in to lots of problem. The party was founded by who Panthers Huey Newton & Bobby on October of 1966

Black Panther Party was a major significance event, it caused enormous destruction in public but they succeeded in their struggle, they had positive impact on section of society and created massive amount of changes in United State, they stand for Revolutionary Solidarity, equal human rights as well as no existence of racism.

1)Revolutionary Solidarity

 

Paragraph 2 (Sub-Topic 1)

Major Idea: Revolutionary Solidarity .

Black Panther Party stands for revolutionary unity with all the people fighting against the forces of imperialism, capitalism or racism. Their solidarity was extended to people all over, they believed their struggle for liberation is part of a worldwide struggle being waged by the poor and oppressed against imperialism.” The United States Of American, we-the black panther party—understand that the most effective way that we can aid our brother and sister is to destroy imperialism from inside.”

Black Panther Party not only made changes in United States but other places such as Australia. The ideals were picked up indigenous group in Australia who were involved in the same struggle for equality; by 1967 the black movement in Australia was active in gaining their civil rights.

Major Idea: Equal Human Rights .

BPP had great intentions to provide African American with a better life in the United States of America. In 1968 African American eventually gained there civil rights and segregation ended. There fight encourage and caused effect not only in American but also all over the world.

“We want education for our people that exposes the true nature of this decadent American society. We want completely free health car, we want all Black men to be exempt from military service, we want Equality.”
Concluding Sentence:

Black Panther Party, African American achieve most of these rights, they weren’t slaves any more, they had same equal right as any other white person living in United States, BPP helped them secure their children future, so they won’t face the challenges they faced. They wanted their generation to stand up and be equal like anybody else.

Major Idea: No Racism .

Black Panther Party wanted their community to be looked up as any other white person in United States instead of slaves just because of their colour of skin.

Black Panther party had a threatening effect on US government, before BBP movement, United States government was very racist “We want an immediate end to police brutality and murder of black people” Police shot the main members of BPP Fred Hampton and Bobby Hutton. It provoked the government to take these step because they couldn’t deal with them.

They wanted end of police brutality in their black community by organizing black self-defence groups that are dedicated to defending their black community from racist police oppression and brutality. “Love without structural awareness is called “sentimental liberalism” while structural awareness without love is called “Black Power”


Concluding Sentence:

By end of BPP, the racism and hatred toward Black people reduce and even today, racism exit but its not as severe as it uses to be.

 

Summary of Sub-Topics:

Black Panther wanted Revolutionary Solidarity, to fight with other people who struggle for their civil rights, they wanted to be considered as a part of society, to have same equal rights as any white person in United Sates as well as their government not to be racist because of the colour of their skin.
Restate the Thesis:

Black Panther Party was a major significance event, it caused enormous destruction in public but they succeeded in their struggle, they had positive impact on section of society and created massive amount of changes in United State, they stand for Revolutionary Solidarity, equal human rights as well as no existence of racism.

I believe that the Black Panther’s had great intention to provide African American with a better life in the United States of America but their approach was so negative that in many ways forced them into unbearable situation with which that had to use violence. BPP was severely misjudged as a result of a number of violent accidents. Unfortunately due to the negative publicity, many failed to understand what the Black Panther movement stands for.
